Postdoctoral Researcher position at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) in synthesis of novel high-performance polyurethanes.

The project sits in the Department of Chemical Engineering and Chemistry and the Polymer Performance Materials group, under the supervision of Prof. Željko Tomović. The research focuses on the design, synthesis, and characterization of novel polyols for high-performance polyurethane materials, with emphasis on polymer chemistry, advanced materials, and structure-property relationships. Characterization will involve chemical, structural, rheological, and mechanical techniques.

Eligibility highlights: applicants should have a PhD in organic chemistry, polymer chemistry, or a related discipline, with a strong background in organic/polymer chemistry and experience in synthesis and characterization of organic molecules or polymers. Strong English communication skills, analytical ability, initiative, creativity, and interest in application-oriented research are expected.

Funding and conditions: this is a full-time postdoc for 2 years at TU/e. Salary is listed under Dutch university scale 10 (€4,241–€5,538 per month), with year-end bonus, vacation pay, training opportunities, commuting/work-from-home/internet allowances, and possible relocation/tax support.
