About this position
The Montague, DiFeliceantonio, and Howe Laboratories at the Fralin Biomedical Research Institute at Virginia Tech are seeking a motivated and creative Postdoctoral Associate to join a collaborative research effort at the intersection of metabolism and computational neuroscience.
The project aims to integrate metabolic signals with canonical computational frameworks to better understand brain function. The work is based on studies with human participants and uses a range of neural and physiological monitoring approaches. The successful candidate will contribute to the design and conceptualization of experiments, help shape methods for analyzing results, support publication and presentation outputs, and assist with project management and training of research personnel.
This position sits within a multi-lab environment at Virginia Tech’s biomedical research institute, bringing together expertise across related labs to pursue transdisciplinary questions in human neuroscience and metabolism. The role offers hands-on involvement in data analysis, experimental planning, and dissemination of findings in peer-reviewed and professional research settings.
