About this position
USDA-ARS is offering a postdoctoral fellowship in swine viral disease research at the National Animal Disease Center in Ames, Iowa, United States. The degree must have been earned within the last five years or be expected by 2027-05-31. Preferred experience includes swine veterinary science, virology, immunology, animal care and use ethics, BSL-2 research, and laboratory assays on animal-derived samples.
Funding: stipend of $75,000–$95,000 per year. The appointment is full time, initially for one year, and may be renewed depending on funding and recommendation. Proof of health insurance is required; participants are not employees of USDA, ARS, DOE, or ORAU.
