The Free University of Bozen - Bolzano invites applications for a postdoctoral position in Clinical and Dynamic Psychology under the supervision of Professor Antonella Brighi. This research opportunity is part of the project 'Well-being, Engagement, and Educational Success Across the Lifespan: An Integrated Clinical-Developmental Model of Regulatory Processes, Relational Dynamics, and Educational Contexts.' The project aims to develop and empirically test an integrated model to understand how emotion regulation, the quality of significant relationships (including parents, teachers, and peers), and motivational factors contribute to psychological well-being, engagement, and educational achievement across key educational transitions.

Utilizing a longitudinal multi-cohort design, the research will analyze socio-emotional and relational developmental trajectories from childhood through emerging adulthood. The study will identify risk and protective factors within educational contexts and employ advanced statistical models to examine cascade mechanisms linking early competencies to school adjustment over time. Additionally, the project includes the testing of psychoeducational interventions designed to strengthen emotion regulation and relational resources, with the goal of informing innovative theoretical models and evidence-based educational policies.

Applicants should possess a PhD in psychology or a closely related discipline, with demonstrated experience in longitudinal research, statistical modeling, and psychoeducational intervention. Recognized language certificates may be required according to university guidelines.
