About this position
The Integrated Cancer Genomics Lab in the Department of Genetics at the University of Delhi South Campus is recruiting postdoctoral researchers for immediate-start positions in functional cancer genomics.
The research programme investigates genomic and molecular mechanisms underlying cancer development, progression, metastasis, relapse, and resistance to treatment. Available projects span cancer genomics, liquid biopsy, single-cell analysis, and functional studies of treatment resistance across breast, lung, tongue, and head and neck cancers.
Research themes represented by the lab’s recent work include endocrine-therapy resistance associated with CDKN1B inactivation and ER signalling, plasma-derived microbiome profiling in lung cancer using targeted and whole-exome sequencing, tumor-suppressor mutations as indicators of relapse, large-scale cancer genome analysis, recurrent gene translocations, and miRNA-associated mechanisms of lymph-node metastasis.
The positions offer an opportunity to work in an integrated cancer genomics environment within the Department of Genetics, under Professor Amit Dutt, and to develop a research career in translational and functional cancer genomics.
