About this position
Northeastern University is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate for the Bendable Electronics and Sustainable Technologies (BEST) Group in Boston, Massachusetts, led by Professor Ravinder Dahiya.
The BEST Group develops sustainable materials and resource-efficient printed electronics on flexible substrates, with the aim of changing how sensors and electronic devices are designed and manufactured. The postdoctoral researcher will contribute to multidisciplinary projects involving high-mobility materials, transient and degradable electronics, sensors, circuits, energy devices, micro/nanofabrication, nanowire synthesis, and technologies for printed electronics.
Research applications include tactile sensing, haptics, electronic skin, robotics, wearable systems, and interactive systems. The role may also involve simulation, cleanroom fabrication, electronic-device characterization, system-level integration, and haptic feedback for real and virtual agents.
The researcher will work as part of an interdisciplinary team and may supervise graduate students. They will also contribute to scientific publications, research proposals, and the management of complex projects within Northeastern’s research environment.
