About this position
University College Dublin is seeking a Post-doctoral Research Fellow Level 1 to join the Centre for BioNano Interactions (CBNI) within the UCD School of Chemistry.
CBNI is an internationally recognised, highly cross-disciplinary research grouping led by Prof. Kenneth Dawson and Prof. Yan Yan. Its research focuses on synthetic and cell-derived nanoscale structures that interact with living systems, advancing both fundamental understanding and applications in the bio-nano field.
The successful researcher will join the Bio-inspired Particle Architecture Delivery Technologies (Bio-PADT) project, investigating how nanostructures interact with living systems. The role is particularly suited to a researcher with expertise in molecular microbiology, contributing to a dynamic team working across biology, chemistry, nanostructures and bio-inspired delivery technologies.
The project is supported by Research Ireland and offers an opportunity to develop experience in an internationally oriented research environment focused on nanoscale systems and biological interactions.
