About this position

Aarhus University is recruiting a Postdoctoral Researcher in Maize–Microbe Interactions in the Plant Molecular Biology section of the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics. The position is part of ENSA – Enabling Nutrient Symbioses in Agriculture, an international research project focused on making farming more sustainable and equitable by expanding the use of beneficial microorganisms that help crops access essential nutrients.

Skills in molecular and genetic techniques are required, while genome editing, transcriptomics, and microscopy are advantageous. Excellent English communication skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team are expected.

Funding and appointment: this is a fixed-term, full-time postdoctoral appointment at Aarhus University, starting on 1 October 2026 (or soon thereafter) and ending on 31 March 2028. Salary is determined by seniority under the Danish collective labour agreement; no specific stipend amount is listed.
