The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Jyväskylä, Finland, invites applications for 1-3 Postdoctoral Researcher positions in Mathematics. These fixed-term positions (1–2 years) are set to begin on September 1, 2026, or as soon as possible thereafter. Successful candidates will join vibrant research groups focusing on geometric analysis, inverse problems, geometric measure theory, harmonic analysis, nonlinear partial differential equations, and related areas. The department also has strong research in stochastics, probability theory, number theory, computational mathematics, and statistics. The postdoctoral researchers are expected to concentrate primarily on scientific research, with limited teaching responsibilities.
