About this position
Postdoctoral opportunity in neurobiology at CNRS within the Laboratoire d’Immuno-NEuro Modulation (INEM), UMR7355, on the CNRS campus in Orléans.
The recruited researcher will join the ANR project Weak-CyNeuroVir (2027–2030), which investigates the neurobiological impact of environmental pollutants, with or without viral induction, using in vitro brain organoid models across multiple species, including human, murine, and avian systems.
The project is strongly experimental and centers on the development and use of 3D cellular models to study neurotoxicity and neuroinflammation. The postdoctoral fellow will establish human brain organoid models from iPSCs and avian brain organoid models from chicken embryos, then carry out associated cellular and molecular analyses.
- Culture and molecular biology work, including PCR and RT-qPCR
- Flow cytometry and organoid characterization
- Immunohistology and immunofluorescence analyses
- Analysis, interpretation, and presentation of results
- Scientific reporting, manuscript preparation, and conference presentations
- Contribution to team life and support for students in the group
The position sits in an established research unit with expertise and infrastructure in cell culture, histology, and animal experimentation, and the researcher will work under the direction of the team leader for environmental pollutants, neurotoxicity, and neuroinflammation.
The post is located in a PPST-regulated area and requires authorization from the relevant MESR authority.
