About this position
The postdoctoral scholar will serve as the research engine for the National Educator Apprenticeship Consortium, a Congressionally funded effort housed in the National Institute for the Advancement of Education within the University of Nevada, Las Vegas College of Education.
The project focuses on building shared public infrastructure for registered educator apprenticeship across eight states. The scholar will design and conduct studies across all three goal areas, assemble and analyze cross-state data, prepare the annual Impact Report, and turn consortium activity into peer-reviewed manuscripts, policy briefs, and conference presentations.
This role offers close involvement with a national, multi-state education initiative, including monthly convenings, state site visits, and a culminating Washington, DC engagement. It is framed as an opportunity to develop a research identity in educator workforce policy while working with data generated through a large coordinated consortium.
The position sits in UNLV’s College of Education, within an environment that emphasizes equity, access, collaborative outreach, community engagement, and high-quality educational programs. The postdoctoral scholar will contribute to research products intended for national distribution and work alongside a broad postdoctoral community at UNLV.
