About this position

The University of Luxembourg’s Interdisciplinary Centre for Security, Reliability and Trust (SnT) is offering a fully funded PhD position in Quantum Information Science, focusing on Quantum MIMO systems. The successful candidate will join the Signal Processing and Communications (SigCom) group led by Professor Symeon Chatzinotas.

Research will center on developing models, protocols, and signal-processing techniques for quantum-enhanced wireless networks and future quantum internet infrastructures. Applicants should have an MSc in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or Quantum Technologies, with a background in quantum information science and experience using Qiskit, QuTiP, or PennyLane.

Strong programming skills in Python, Matlab, or C++ and excellent analytical and English communication skills are required. The position is fully funded for 36 months, including stipend and tuition coverage. SnT offers a vibrant international research environment with world-class labs and strong industry connections.
