About this position

As previously “warned,” the PhD position is finally open. So if you or someone you know would like to pursue a PhD in sociology with a focus on gang crime and recruitment, we warmly welcome your application.

P.S. As a PhD student, you’ll join a team of five friendly and dedicated Swedish and Danish researchers. In other words, you’ll have ample opportunity to work independently while also enjoying close collaboration and continuous support.

Also, Department of Sociology, Lund University is a rather lovely place to work. And as our future PhD student and colleague, you can choose to settle in wonderful Lund, or, alternatively, you might want to live in one of the bigger cities and commute from, say, Malmö or Copenhagen. The world is your oyster!

Funding details

Full funding including tuition fees and living expenses is available for this position. The scholarship covers all educational costs and provides a monthly stipend.
