Spring 2027 intake opportunities are available in the research group of Abdullah Algarni, Assistant Professor in the Electrical Engineering Department at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM), Saudi Arabia.

The group is seeking motivated applicants for MS (self-sponsored) and PhD positions (regular or direct) in research areas including computational electromagnetics (with emphasis on FDTD), microwave engineering, antenna design, and RF and wireless systems. This is a strong fit for students interested in electromagnetic simulation, antenna/RF design, and wireless technologies.

Eligibility highlights: regular PhD applicants should have a GPA of 3.5/4.0 or equivalent; direct PhD applicants should have a GPA of 3.75/4.0 or equivalent. A valid English language test score (TOEFL, IELTS, or Duolingo) will be needed later for the Graduate Office application.
