About this position
The Milad Lab at the University of Ottawa’s School of Pharmaceutical Sciences is recruiting undergraduate summer interns, co-op students, MSc students, and PhD students for hands-on research in respiratory health, inhalation toxicology, and pharmaceutical sciences.
The lab investigates how inhaled exposures affect lung biology and disease. Research considers exposures including cigarette smoke, cannabis smoke, e-cigarettes, cannabis vapour, and wood-fire smoke, using both in vitro and in vivo models.
Trainees will join a growing research team focused on understanding the biological and disease-related consequences of inhaled substances. The lab also welcomes collaborations with researchers interested in examining how inhaled exposures influence specific tissues, pathways, or diseases.
The opportunity is led by Nadia Milad and is based in the University of Ottawa’s pharmaceutical sciences research environment.
