Postdoc in Applied Economics at Gran Sasso Science Institute (GSSI) This is a 2-year postdoctoral research opportunity in the Social Sciences area at GSSI, with a possible extension. The project is centered on green and digital transitions , with research on skills, jobs, firm quality, and policy . The work will draw on applied economics , especially the literature on labour economics, innovation, and industrial dynamics . The successful candidate will use econometric techniques and data science tools , including natural language processing , and will work with both secondary data and primary data such as survey experiments. The post is funded by the Horizon project PACT: Past And Current Transitions: A new pact for fair and resilient European regions . Eligibility highlights: a background in applied economics is preferred, along with familiarity with labour, innovation, and industrial dynamics research.
