Alison Hutton

About

Alison Hutton is a Professor of Nursing at the University of Newcastle, Australia. Her research focuses on interprofessional responses to child maltreatment, workforce health in the meat processing industry, and improving communication about sexuality issues among adolescents. Additionally, she explores disaster response competencies, climate change adaptation for the elderly, and the experiences of newly graduated nurses in pediatric settings. Her recent work also investigates determinants of low birth weight and emergency medical services preparedness in various contexts.
