Clinical Associate/Full Professor of Education for EdD Program Coordination at the University of Rhode Island

The University of Rhode Island Feinstein College of Education is hiring a Clinical Associate / Full Professor of Education to coordinate its newly designed Doctorate in Education (EdD) program. This is a full-time, nine-month, non-tenure-track faculty appointment beginning in Fall 2026 at URI’s Kingston campus. The role is centered on education leadership , program coordination , student advising , and practice scholarship . The successful candidate will work closely with faculty across the college, including the coordinator of the PhD in Education program, and will help build a supportive doctoral community focused on equity-centered, applied problem solving. The EdD curriculum emphasizes applied inquiry , implementation science , organizational learning , and leadership for change , with core courses delivered fully online for working professionals. Research and teaching interests that fit especially well include quantitative methods , mixed methods , applied research, educational policy, systems improvement, and change leadership. The college is particularly interested in candidates whose teaching, service, and scholarship support equitable educational practices , inclusion, and community partnerships across PK-12, higher education, nonprofit, government, and industry settings.
