Feinstein College of Education is hiring a
Clinical Associate / Full Professor of Education
to coordinate its newly designed
Doctorate in Education (EdD)
program. This is a
full-time, nine-month, non-tenure-track faculty appointment
beginning in
Fall 2026
at URI’s Kingston campus.

. The successful candidate will work closely with faculty across the college, including the coordinator of the PhD in Education program, and will help build a supportive doctoral community focused on equity-centered, applied problem solving. The EdD curriculum emphasizes

leadership for change
, with core courses delivered fully online for working professionals.
Research and teaching interests that fit especially well include
quantitative methods

, inclusion, and community partnerships across PK-12, higher education, nonprofit, government, and industry settings.
Required qualifications
include a PhD or EdD in Education or a closely related field, expertise in project/program management in an educational setting, mentoring or advising adult learners, a record of practice scholarship with potential for externally funded projects, strong communication skills, and commitment to equity, social justice, and inclusion.
Preferred qualifications
include teaching experience and experience with quantitative, qualitative, or mixed-methods applied research, plus collaborative partnerships.
