About
Professor Atsushi Yamashita is a faculty member at Teikyo University, Japan. His research focuses on the biochemical pathways related to lysophosphatidylinositol, phospholipase A1 localization, and triacylglycerol synthesis in response to Mycobacterium leprae. He also investigates the transport mechanisms of very long-chain acyl-CoA in peroxisomes and the functional interactions of various lipid metabolism-related proteins.
