PhD Opportunity in Cancer Survivorship, Lifestyle Interventions & Digital Health

PhD opportunity at the University of Alberta in cancer survivorship, lifestyle interventions, and digital health . The Prado Lab is recruiting a full-time PhD student to join a research program focused on clinical trials, nutrition, exercise, behavioural support, and knowledge translation. The selected student will contribute to RESILIENCE (ImpRoving hEalth behaviourS for LIfe after ENdometrial CancEr Trial), a two-site randomized clinical trial conducted with the University of Toronto and the University of Alberta. The project evaluates a multimodal digital health intervention for survivors of endometrial cancer, integrating nutrition, exercise, and behavioural support. This is a funded position and includes training at the academic–industry interface, with opportunities to work on clinical trial coordination, participant assessments, data analysis, manuscript writing, conference presentations, and knowledge translation. Applicants should have a background in nutrition, dietetics, kinesiology, exercise physiology, human physiology, public health, health sciences , or a related field. The post is aimed at a highly motivated PhD candidate interested in cancer survivorship and intervention research. Location: Edmonton, Canada. Start date: January 2027.
