Postdoctoral Position in Molecular Biosensors and Electrochemistry at La Trobe University

The Hogan research group at La Trobe University is recruiting a Postdoctoral Researcher for a 3-year position as part of the ARC Research Hub for Molecular Biosensors at Point-of-Use (MOBIUS). This role is designed for candidates with expertise in biosensors, optical sensors, and electrochemistry, aiming to advance research excellence in molecular biosensing for point-of-use applications. The successful candidate will join a collaborative team, working closely with other postdoctoral researchers and PhD candidates across the MOBIUS hub and associated research groups. The position is based at La Trobe University, Australia, and offers the opportunity to engage in interdisciplinary research with industry partners. Applicants should hold a PhD in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field, and demonstrate strong skills in biosensors, optical sensors, or electrochemistry. Experience in collaborative and interdisciplinary research environments is highly valued. The position is fully funded for three years at Level A, with support from the Australian Research Council. The application deadline is February 12th, 2026. For more information and to apply, visit the MOBIUS opportunities page or the LinkedIn post provided. This opportunity is ideal for researchers interested in advancing molecular biosensing technologies and working in a dynamic, collaborative environment at La Trobe University.
