Open PhD position in Project B02 of the FoodDiverse Collaborative Research Center at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn . The project focuses on agri-environmental policy and food policy effects on food system diversity , with a particular interest in how public- and private-sector policies shape agricultural diversity and farm performance in Ghana and Germany. The advertised PhD topic is especially relevant for candidates interested in environmental economics , agricultural economics , causal inference , spatial data , and remote sensing . The broader CRC combines micro-data from farms, households, and individuals with remote sensing and regional/global modeling. In B02, the research examines how policies may influence land use and production diversity, including potential unintended effects. Jan Börner is the announcer and professor for Economics of Sustainable Land Use & Bioeconomy at Bonn.
