Despoina Koumpagioti

Despoina Koumpagioti is an Assistant Professor at the University of West Attica in Greece. Her research areas focus on pediatric health, including the impact of social determinants on asthma and allergic diseases, as well as the role of oxidative stress in childhood asthma pathogenesis. Dr. Koumpagioti has published extensively on topics such as the effects of diet on the gut microbiome, vitamin D deficiency in bronchiectasis, and the management of respiratory conditions in children.
