About
Emilie Marhuenda is a Lecturer at Bordeaux INP in France. Her research focuses on mechanosensation in cardiovascular biology, biomaterials, and tissue engineering, evidenced by her recent articles on RhoA activity regulation, electrospun scaffolds, and cardiac development. She is actively investigating the vascular ageing process and its implications for cardiovascular health.

Positions (1)
Emilie Marhuenda
Bordeaux INP
Postdoctoral Researcher in Cell Biology / Neuro-Oncology at Bordeaux INP / CBMN (CNRS UMR5248), in collaboration with IEM (CNRS UMR5635), Montpellier. This opportunity focuses on glioblastoma stem cell migration , immune plasticity , mechanosensing , and cell-environment interactions , using an innovative biomaterial-based platform . The project is framed around translational innovation and valorization and is supported by SATT AST as part of a maturation program. The recruited postdoctoral researcher will work on cell culture and co-culture experiments, optimization of biomimetic environments, biochemical and histological analyses, in vivo studies, and spatial transcriptomics. The role involves close interaction with the project coordinator and collaborators across a multidisciplinary consortium. Eligibility highlights: PhD required; prior postdoctoral experience is an advantage. Strong publication record expected. Experience in cell culture, 3D/biomimetic systems, oncology, immunology, in vivo tumor models, Western blot, PCR, immunostaining, tissue sectioning, and biomaterials design/use is highly relevant. Mechanobiology experience and analysis of cellular behavior under mechanical constraints are especially valued. Funding and contract: full-time fixed-term contract for 12 months, with a possible 6-month extension. Salary: 2,900 EUR gross/month. How to apply: send a CV and cover letter, mentioning the reference, by email to [email protected]. The post also lists a postal address for Aquitaine Science Transfert in Talence.
