About this position

Postdoctoral Researcher in Cell Biology / Neuro-Oncology at Bordeaux INP / CBMN (CNRS UMR5248), in collaboration with IEM (CNRS UMR5635), Montpellier.

This opportunity focuses on glioblastoma stem cell migration, immune plasticity, mechanosensing, and cell-environment interactions, using an innovative biomaterial-based platform. The project is framed around translational innovation and valorization and is supported by SATT AST as part of a maturation program.

The recruited postdoctoral researcher will work on cell culture and co-culture experiments, optimization of biomimetic environments, biochemical and histological analyses, in vivo studies, and spatial transcriptomics. The role involves close interaction with the project coordinator and collaborators across a multidisciplinary consortium.

Eligibility highlights: PhD required; prior postdoctoral experience is an advantage. Strong publication record expected. Experience in cell culture, 3D/biomimetic systems, oncology, immunology, in vivo tumor models, Western blot, PCR, immunostaining, tissue sectioning, and biomaterials design/use is highly relevant. Mechanobiology experience and analysis of cellular behavior under mechanical constraints are especially valued.

Funding and contract: full-time fixed-term contract for 12 months, with a possible 6-month extension. Salary: 2,900 EUR gross/month.

How to apply: send a CV and cover letter, mentioning the reference, by email to [email protected]. The post also lists a postal address for Aquitaine Science Transfert in Talence.
