Erwin Tschachler

Erwin Tschachler is a Professor of Dermatology and the Head of the Research Division of Skin Biology and Pathobiology at the Medical University of Vienna, Austria. His research areas encompass skin biology, particularly focusing on autophagy and its role in hair shaft protein composition, as well as the mechanisms underlying atopic dermatitis and epidermal barrier formation. He has contributed significantly to understanding transcriptional regulation in skin and has published various articles on relevant methodologies in skin research.
