About

Frédéric Gachon is an Associate Professor at the University of Queensland Institute for Molecular Bioscience in Australia. His research focuses on the interactions between circadian biology and metabolic disorders, particularly in relation to liver function, insulin resistance, and the impact of environmental stress on neuronal characteristics. He has recently published articles discussing the bidirectional communication between the liver and the central circadian clock, as well as the role of circadian genes in avian embryonic development.
