About

Heather Kropp is an Assistant Professor at Hamilton College in the United States. Her research primarily focuses on ecological dynamics in forest ecosystems, including larch forests and shrublands, with particular interest in vegetation cover changes, soil temperature variations, and post-fire recovery. Recent publications examine the influence of vegetation on snow melt rates and nutrient dynamics across the Arctic and Boreal regions.
