EPSRC DLA PhD Studentships in Computer Science and Related EPSRC Remit Areas at Brunel University of London

Brunel University London is recruiting for EPSRC DLA PhD Studentships starting 1 October 2026 . The opportunity is aimed at doctoral researchers in Computer Science and other EPSRC remit areas, including Engineering, ICT, Materials, Mathematical Sciences, Physics, and Chemistry . The studentships are EPSRC-funded and offer a stipend of approximately £23,805 per year (including Inner London weighting). Full-time Home tuition fees are covered, and the duration is 42 months (3.5 years). A limited number of places are available for international applicants , including EU applicants. Eligibility normally expects a 1st or 2:1 honours degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Design, Maths, Physics, Economics, or a related discipline. A master’s degree is desirable but not required . Applicants should also show relevant skills, strong communication ability, and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively. To apply, prepare a single PDF containing the application form, a 1200-word research proposal with references, CV, degree certificates and transcripts, English language qualification if applicable, equal opportunities form, and contact details for two referees (one academic).
