The studentships are EPSRC-funded and offer a stipend of approximately £23,805 per year (including Inner London weighting). Eligibility normally expects a 1st or 2:1 honours degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Design, Maths, Physics, Economics, or a related discipline. A master’s degree is desirable but not required. Applicants should also show relevant skills, strong communication ability, and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively.

To apply, prepare a single PDF containing the application form, a 1200-word research proposal with references, CV, degree certificates and transcripts, English language qualification if applicable, equal opportunities form, and contact details for two referees (one academic). Send the PDF to [email protected].

The deadline is 15 May 2026 at noon, with interviews planned for June 2026. Interested applicants should review the Brunel studentships page for the full project list and application details.
