Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm, Sweden is recruiting a PhD student in environmental epidemiology within the Institute of Environmental Medicine (IMM). The project examines how heat, cold, and air pollution during pregnancy affect maternal complications and early child development , including hypertensive disorders of pregnancy, gestational diabetes, and fetal and infant growth. Ideal applicants have a strong background or interest in epidemiology , public health , environmental health , biostatistics , data science , or another quantitative field, plus experience working with epidemiological data and R .
