John Quackenbush

John Quackenbush is recruiting a postdoctoral fellow to join his research group at the University of Chicago . The group develops computational, statistical, and artificial-intelligence-based approaches for the inference and analysis of gene regulatory networks , with particular emphasis on how regulatory systems change over time and respond to perturbations. Applications include cancer, lung disease, biological sex differences, and aging. The research builds on extensive work in computational biology, bioinformatics, systems biology, network medicine, open-source software, and reproducible research. The successful fellow will have the opportunity to develop innovative computational methods, investigate important biological questions, and contribute to a highly collaborative research environment.
