Universität Osnabrück is hiring a research associate for the Chair of Corporate Management in the research programme Dynamic Incentives, Information, and Strategic Decisions under Uncertainty (DISCU) . The position can be filled either as a PhD position (66.67%) or as a PostDoc position (100%) , depending on qualification, and is initially offered for three years . The project focuses on dynamic decision-making under uncertainty , incentives , information , and strategic interaction . Strong candidates are sought in areas such as formal modelling , dynamic optimization , optimal control , dynamic programming , differential games , game theory , and formal economic modelling . The call also welcomes applicants with an empirical-quantitative profile, including microeconometrics , causal inference , panel data analysis , policy evaluation , and structural estimation . Suitable backgrounds include economics , business administration with a strong formal-analytical focus, mathematics , operations research , quantitative management science , or related fields.
