About this position

Universität Osnabrück is hiring a research associate for the Chair of Corporate Management in the research programme Dynamic Incentives, Information, and Strategic Decisions under Uncertainty (DISCU).

The position can be filled either as a PhD position (66.67%) or as a PostDoc position (100%), depending on qualification, and is initially offered for three years.

The project focuses on dynamic decision-making under uncertainty, incentives, information, and strategic interaction. Strong candidates are sought in areas such as formal modelling, dynamic optimization, optimal control, dynamic programming, differential games, game theory, and formal economic modelling.

The call also welcomes applicants with an empirical-quantitative profile, including microeconometrics, causal inference, panel data analysis, policy evaluation, and structural estimation. Suitable backgrounds include economics, business administration with a strong formal-analytical focus, mathematics, operations research, quantitative management science, or related fields.
