. Applicants with strong quantitative and interdisciplinary backgrounds are especially encouraged.
PhD opening:
The group is recruiting PhD students for
September 2027 admission
. Competitive applicants should have a bachelor’s degree from a globally well-ranked university (preferably QS Top 100 or equivalent), strong academic performance (for example GPA ≥ 3.6/4.0 or First-Class Honours), and a strong master’s record. High-quality publications or other research outputs will strengthen the application. Funding may be available through

Postdoctoral opening:
One postdoctoral researcher position is also available with a flexible start date. Suitable backgrounds include transportation, environment, computer/data science, public health, spatiotemporal data science, and related fields, with strong quantitative and interdisciplinary research experience.
