About this position
PhD and Postdoctoral Opportunities are available with the PEACE Research Group at The University of Hong Kong, led by Junshi Xu (Assistant Professor in Transportation and Air Quality).
The group works at the intersection of transportation, environmental science, geography, urban studies, AI, and spatiotemporal data science. Research interests include transport, cities and people, environmental monitoring, human mobility, environmental exposure, and population health. PhD opening: The group is recruiting PhD students for September 2027 admission. Postdoctoral opening: One postdoctoral researcher position is also available with a flexible start date. Suitable backgrounds include transportation, environment, computer/data science, public health, spatiotemporal data science, and related fields, with strong quantitative and interdisciplinary research experience.
