perinatal MRI
with Dr.
Lanxin Ji
, Assistant Professor at NYU Langone Health. The lab focuses on
early human brain development
,
maternal-fetal health
,
advanced neuroimaging
, and
deep learning
approaches to imaging analysis.
The successful candidate will work on
fetal and placental MRI
,
brain network analysis
, and multimodal data integration using locally collected MRI cohorts and public datasets such as the
developing Human Connectome Project (dHCP)
. Responsibilities include developing research questions, applying and optimizing computational methods, analyzing MRI data, preparing first-author manuscripts, presenting at conferences, and collaborating with interdisciplinary investigators in psychology, psychiatry, and computational neuroscience.
Preferred qualifications include a
PhD or equivalent doctoral degree
in psychology, neuroscience, engineering, or a related field; experience with MRI data collection and processing; and programming skills in
Python, R, or MATLAB
. Research productivity, strong organization, and strong communication skills are also preferred.
