Research Associate opportunity within the Sydney Pharmacy School at the University of Sydney, working with Professor Lu and her research team. The role sits in a globally recognised centre for pharmacy research and education, with the successful applicant based within the Sydney Pharmacy School at the Kolling Institute, Northern Sydney Local Health District. The postdoctoral researcher will contribute to health policy and outcomes research, with a particular focus on the quality use of medicines. The team’s work spans medicines policy, pharmacoepidemiology, comparative effectiveness, and outcomes research, alongside broader work on health care policy and practice in Australia and the US. Day-to-day, the appointee will help develop and manage research projects from early planning through to publication. The role involves coordinating project activities, working across multidisciplinary teams, managing large datasets, supporting grant and protocol development, preparing manuscripts, presenting findings, and contributing to mentoring within the team. The position is embedded in a research environment that links pharmacy, policy, and data-driven health research, with collaboration across internal and external stakeholders in the Sydney region and beyond.
