Flinders University, in collaboration with the South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute (SAHMRI), is offering fully funded PhD scholarships through the Registry of Senior Australians (ROSA). These scholarships focus on real-world, policy-shaping research using the ROSA dataset to improve health, aged care, and outcomes for older Australians. Successful candidates will gain advanced skills in epidemiology, big data analytics, health services research, and knowledge translation. Supervision is provided by Professors Maria Inacio, Gillian Caughey, and Associate Professor Stephanie Harrison. The scholarship provides a tax-free stipend of $40,000 per year for 3.5 years, supporting full-time study. Applicants should have a strong academic background in public health, medical science, statistics, or related fields, and demonstrate research experience and motivation. To apply, candidates must send a CV and cover letter to Associate Professor Stephanie Harrison. The program is set to begin in Semester 1, 2026 or later, and aims to directly inform improvements in aged care services across Australia.
