About

Dr. Mariam Aly is an Assistant Professor at Columbia University in the United States. She specializes in cognitive neuroscience, focusing on memory processes, including episodic and semantic memory, and the neural mechanisms underlying perception and anticipation. Her recent research encompasses topics such as the role of eye movements in amnesia, musical memories, and the relationship between sensory uncertainty and curiosity.
