two tenure-track Assistant Professors (Associate Senior Lecturers) in Computational Science
through the

, with research connections to established and emerging environments across the faculty and access to major infrastructures such as

. Computational science here is broadly defined and may include
simulation
,
modelling
,
data analysis
,
software development
, and
data management
for problems in the natural sciences, engineering, or medicine.
The appointment is a
6-year career track
with the possibility of promotion to a permanent senior lecturer role. The post includes support for building a research team, with resources corresponding to
one doctoral studentship and one postdoctoral position

Eligibility and requirements include a
doctoral degree
or equivalent expertise in computational science, preferably within the last 7 years, a strong publication record, a research plan for an innovative project, relevant postdoctoral experience outside the PhD institution, experience in computationally intensive collaboration, teaching ability, student supervision ability, leadership potential, excellent English, and motivation to learn Swedish. For nomination to Swedish Research Council support, candidates must also have documented leadership skills and must not have received a salary or scholarship from Sweden since 31 December 2022.
