Lund University is recruiting two tenure-track Assistant Professors (Associate Senior Lecturers) in Computational Science through the Lund University Programme for Global Excellence . The position is based at the Faculty of Science, Lund University , with research connections to established and emerging environments across the faculty and access to major infrastructures such as ESS and MAX IV . Computational science here is broadly defined and may include simulation , modelling , data analysis , software development , and data management for problems in the natural sciences, engineering, or medicine. The appointment is a 6-year career track with the possibility of promotion to a permanent senior lecturer role. The post includes support for building a research team, with resources corresponding to one doctoral studentship and one postdoctoral position .
