About

Dr. Mariusz Papp is a Professor and Head of the Pharmacology Department and Behavioural Pharmacology Lab at the Maj Institute of Pharmacology, Polish Academy of Sciences. His research primarily focuses on the behavioral and pharmacological models of affective disorders, particularly through the investigation of novel antidepressant treatments and their mechanisms of action. Recent publications include studies on the effects of venlafaxine, deep brain stimulation, and the role of biased agonists at the 5-HT 1A receptor in chronic stress models of depression.
