Niels Bassler

Professor Niels Bassler is a faculty member at Aarhus Universitet in Denmark. His research areas focus on radiation therapy, particularly the effects of hypofractionated radiation combined with hyperthermia, as well as proton therapy and its biological implications. Recent studies include investigations into treatment windows for proton minibeam radiotherapy and the impact of various fixation methods on clinical outcomes. Professor Bassler is actively contributing to the understanding of radiation effects on normal tissue and tumor responses in preclinical models.
