Peisong Ma

Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia is recruiting postdoctoral fellows and a PhD student for an NIH R01-funded laboratory in the Division of Hematology and the Cardeza Foundation for Hematologic Research. The lab, led by Peisong Ma , studies GPCR signaling in platelet biology , thrombosis , hemostasis , megakaryopoiesis , and vascular disease , with the goal of developing next-generation antithrombotic therapies. Research projects use CRISPR-Cas9 gene editing, transgenic mouse models, iPSC-based genome-wide screening, intravital microscopy, vascular injury/thrombosis models, and advanced molecular and cellular biology methods. Applicants should have strong experience in molecular and cellular biology. Prior experience in hematology, thrombosis, or platelet biology is preferred but not required.
