SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST), Chennai, India is inviting applications for a Project Associate-I position under an ANRF-PMECRG funded project titled AI-HerboScreen: Development of Novel Artificial Intelligence Framework for Therapeutic Repurposing and Validation of Indian Medicinal Plant Bioactives Targeting the TGF-β/INHBA Axis in Oral Submucous Fibrosis . This is an interdisciplinary opportunity at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence , Machine Learning , Bioinformatics , Multi-omics , Computational Biology , Drug Discovery , and Oral Cancer/Fibrosis research . The selected candidate will work on AI-driven therapeutic repurposing, medicinal plant bioactive screening, target prioritization, network pharmacology, molecular docking, and translational bioinformatics studies. Eligible backgrounds include Bioinformatics , Computational Biology , Biotechnology , Artificial Intelligence , Data Science , Computer Science , or related disciplines. The advertisement states that candidates should have an M.Sc./M.Tech. degree with at least 70% marks or equivalent CGPA .
