Rossitza Setchi is a Professor and the Director of the MMAM program at Cardiff University, UK. Her research areas encompass advanced manufacturing techniques, particularly in laser powder bed fusion and the development of novel materials. Recent publications include investigations into thermal behaviour and fluid dynamics in 18Ni-300 maraging steel, as well as the mechanical properties of various alloys enhanced through additive manufacturing processes. She continues to contribute significantly to the field with a focus on secure digital solutions and context-based human intention recognition.
