About
Sebastien Meffre is an Associate Professor at the University of Tasmania, Australia. His research focuses on geochemistry and environmental science, particularly in the areas of acid and metalliferous drainage, geochronology, and the characterisation of mine wastes. Recent publications include studies on the geochemical properties of pre-Carboniferous siliciclastic rocks and the tectonic history of southeast Australia. He also investigates the potential of industrial and mine wastes for environmental remediation and resource recovery.
