Postdoctoral Research Positions in Embedded AI, Edge Computing, and AI Systems at KAIST

KAIST Embedded AI Lab is recruiting postdoctoral researchers for Fall 2026 / Spring 2027 . The lab is led by Seulki Lee (Associate Professor, KAIST EE / Department of AI Systems) and focuses on Embedded AI , On-Device AI , AI Systems , Edge Computing , Physical AI , AIoT , and Secure/Confidential AI . The research direction emphasizes intelligent systems that can learn, reason, adapt, and interact directly on resource-constrained devices such as robots, vehicles, smartphones, wearables, IoT platforms, and cyber-physical systems. The lab highlights opportunities in AI systems & infrastructure, on-device AI agents, embedded physical AI, embedded machine learning, edge intelligence, and trustworthy AI. What the lab offers includes a competitive salary and benefits, a world-class research environment at KAIST, access to GPU clusters and embedded/robotics platforms, international collaborations, and support for publishing in top venues such as NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, ACL, EMNLP, MLSys, ASPLOS, OSDI, SOSP, MobiSys, MobiCom, and SenSys.
