Fully Funded PhD Positions in Infection Biology and Gastrointestinal Cancer Research (TagTIC Doctoral Network)

TagTIC is recruiting for 11 fully funded PhD positions within a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Doctoral Network focused on how infections contribute to gastrointestinal cancers and how this knowledge can be translated into new therapeutic strategies. The projects span a wide range of research areas, including cancer biology , microbiology , immunology , organoids , multi-omics , drug discovery , medicinal chemistry , AI , digital pathology , and precision medicine . The network brings together academic and industrial partners across Europe, with host institutions including the University of Salzburg , Helmholtz Munich , University of Gdansk , Aarhus University , Sapienza Università di Roma , Helmholtz Institute for Pharmaceutical Research Saarland (HIPS) , Universidad Autónoma de Madrid , DKFZ German Cancer Research Center , and TissueGnostics GmbH .
