Dr. Silvia Spoto is the Head of the Research Operative Unit of Patologia Medica at Fondazione Policlinico Universitario Campus Bio-Medico di Roma, Italy. Her research focuses on the pathophysiology of infections, particularly the role of adrenomedullin in sepsis and organ damage, as well as the diagnostic accuracy of biomarkers in acute conditions. In recent publications, she has explored proteomic responses to antibiotics and innovative methodologies for iron supplementation, contributing significantly to the understanding of various clinical challenges.
